A house is hundreds of decisions you never see.

We build custom homes and whole-home renovations in McAlester and around Lake Eufaula. Below are some of the decisions, and why we made them.

We build the way we’d build for ourselves, because usually we are.

Colby has taken a 1959 ranch down to the slab and put a second story on it, and he lives in it. Most of what we know about how a house fails, we learned by having to fix it ourselves first.

DRAINAGE

We cut the center of the house open.

The original roofline dropped a valley straight onto the back wall. You can waterproof a valley like that, and then you are waiting for a problem. We opened the center up to a sixteen-foot ceiling instead and the valley went away.

What we build

Ground-up construction

Custom homes on your lot, start to finish, including the site work and every trade that comes through it.

Whole-home renovation

Down to studs and back up. This is most of what we do and the work our crew does best.

Additions and structural work

Second stories, garages, porches, and the parts of a house that hold the rest of it up.

Smaller jobs, single bathrooms and one-room remodels, we book eight to twelve weeks out. We will tell you where you land before you commit to anything.

The work

Before and after, because that is the part that is hard to picture.

Who you’re working with

Colby

Builds it

On the job sites. He runs the crew, brings in the licensed trades, and answers the phone himself.

Jess

Runs it

Runs the estimates, the invoices, and the schedule. If your question has a number in it, she is the one with the answer.
